Paul Jones Paul Jones is now 32 and has over ten years experience of the IT industry. Paul started hisIT career while studying Computing at the University of Glamorgan. After graduation Paul started work as a programmer in local Government, shortly after this an opportunity arose in the NHS where Paul worked as a systems analyst for Health Promotion Wales. After 12 months Paul had advanced to Assistant Head of IT, the youngest person to hold this post in the NHS.

Over the next eight years Paul honed not just his technical skills but also his interpersonal skills as a freelance consultant, working for some of the biggest names in the Industry,

During Paul’s time at Amey he worked in conjunction with DERA on classified military projects, Paul has not just worked on mission critical systems, but also designed them.

Paul is currently working for a large stockbroker in the City of London providing technical assistance for network problems, messaging and infrastructure migration, as well as aiding with the support and implementation of various trading systems (Reuters, Bloomberg, Thompson Financial, etc). Paul’s background with mission critical and classified projects, as well as the many years experience of freelancing brings a unique and balanced view to problem solving.
